Dr. Sam Paustian-Underdahl, co-founder of Joyntly, recently presented at the SHRM Jacksonville September Chapter Meeting at the River Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Sam’s presentation introduced an innovative approach to soft skills development, highlighting the latest evidence-based methods for enhancing leadership and teamwork via personality interventions.
The talk focused on treating soft skills as modifiable habits that evolve through deliberate practice, backed by behavioral science research. Sam shared proven techniques such as implementation intentions, weekly behavioral objectives, and micro-interventions, all supported by extensive longitudinal studies.
