Joyntly Presents Research at SIOP 2024!

Last week, Joyntly’s co-founders Kate Frear, PhD and Sam Paustian-Underdahl, PhD attended the 2024 Society for Industrial and Organizational (IO) Psychology Conference in Chicago. We had the privilege to not only present our recent findings on interventions to help employees more effectively manage workplace stress, but also to engage with some of the most forward-thinking applications of AI in skills-based talent management.

A key theme at the conference was the integration of well-established psychological research 🧠 (like the Job Characteristics Model and behavior change theories) with modern AI technologies. We enjoyed learning about AI-powered behavioral nudges, microlearning, virtual group executive coaching, peer learning networks, and both AI-powered and human-powered text-to-coach technologies 🤖. These discussions provided us with valuable insights on enhancing workplace experiences through science-driven tools.

We also gained perspectives from IO psychologists and senior leaders at leading companies like Google, Nike, Novartis, and Salesforce. They detailed how their organizations effectively combine AI with behavioral science to address leadership and organizational challenges. At Joyntly, we apply these advanced techniques to refine workplace skills development, fostering healthier and more productive work environments through our AI-enhanced solutions.

The SIOP Conference reinforced our commitment to grounding our technology in solid scientific research. We thank the conference organizers and all participants for an inspiring exchange of ideas. We are excited to further refine our solutions to support organizations in their leadership and development goals. 💼🌱
